About

I am a homeschooling ranch wife, blessed with an incredibly wonderful husband and four amazing children.

Writing is something I greatly enjoy, and I am willing to follow God wherever He decides to take me, for He has always proven Himself trustworthy.

“‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.'” ~Jeremiah 29:11-13

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.” ~ Micah 6:8

Note: Unless otherwise noted, the Scriptures found on my blog are taken from my beloved study Bible, New American Standard translation.

Updated: As of August 27, 2013, I am using Scriptures taken from the New King James Version, unless otherwise noted, and now I am happily studying from both Bibles! 🙂

I was looking this morning for the reference for a verse that came to my mind during my regular time with the Lord. I typed in the phrase on Google and up came your meditation on Psalm 5:3. Thank you for sharing your heart. Also, I was encouraged by your “desire to walk humbly” with our God. I believe all my struggles stem from a lack of humility. I hope to read more of your thoughts and meditations. Again, thank you and the Lord be your joy this day.

Hello…just curious if you’re still writing??
I came across your blog at quite the point in my life and would love to continue reading your walk and scripture filled posts as a younger sister in the faith.

    I hope so.

    • Hi Cynthia,
Thanks so much for asking! You really encouraged me by letting me know that I have encouraged you. Yes, I am still writing. Not nearly as much as I’d like to be, but prayerfully I’ll be able to get back into writing more regularly SOON. My heart is bursting with much to say. Now to find the time to say it. 🙂 May God bless and keep you!
